Get involved in your city
Wauwatosa has about 30 boards, committees, and commissions that provide input to the Common Council and help enhance our community. Some groups are advisory, some are quasi-judicial, and others are activity-oriented. By sharing diverse perspectives and bringing new ideas to the table, members help inform decisions that benefit the entire community.
The Mayor, by ordinance or statute, is responsible for appointing community members to serve on boards, commissions, and committees. Appointments are confirmed by the Common Council. View upcoming meetings of all city committees.
