The Planning & Zoning Division plays an important role in maintaining the high quality of life in Wauwatosa by guiding physical development and land use activities within the City. We do this by:
- Implementing the City’s Comprehensive Plan and other City Area Plans.
- Managing and implementing the Zoning Code
- Processing and reviewing zoning permits (Plan Commission items) and Board of Zoning Appeal applications.
- Supporting the Historic Preservation Commission
