What We Do
Discover Wauwatosa is the City’s tourism organization, connecting visitors with local events, restaurants, hotels, attractions, and experiences. By attracting visitors to our community, tourism supports local businesses, strengthens the economy, creates jobs, and provides opportunities to share Wauwatosa’s culture and character.
The City also partners with Visit Milwaukee, the region’s tourism organization, to promote Wauwatosa as a destination and reach visitors throughout the region and beyond.

Funding Source
The Tourism Department is entirely funded by hotel/motel tax revenue, not property tax dollars.
