The following fees may apply when you request a service outside the regular utility billing or meter-reading process.
Non-Sufficient Funds Fee
A $30 fee is charged when a utility payment is returned because of insufficient funds.
Special Billing Fee
A $30 fee may be charged when an existing customer or property owner requests a bill outside the regular billing schedule.
This fee does not apply to new customers.
Special Meter Reading Fee
A $50 fee may be charged when an existing customer or property owner requests a meter reading outside the regularly scheduled meter-reading cycle.
This fee does not apply if the customer or property owner provides the meter reading. It also does not apply to new customers.
Reconnection Fee
A reconnection fee applies when a water meter is reinstalled and water service is restored.
- During business hours: $65
- After business hours: $95
Seasonal Water Service
Seasonal service is for customers who temporarily disconnect water service and resume service at the same property within 12 months.
Applicable service charges continue during the temporary disconnection period. When service is restored, the applicable reconnection fee will be charged, and any unpaid utility charges must be paid.
Seasonal service is available to customers receiving service under Schedule Mg-1 or Schedule Ug-1.
