Wauwatosa and West Allis Approve Joint Fire Department

The Common Councils of Wauwatosa and West Allis have each voted to approve an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) to move forward with the creation of a joint fire department, which will be named Milwaukee Metro Fire Rescue. Wauwatosa’s Common Council approved the agreement on a 12-2 vote.
